Essentia has a great local network of individuals who show dedication to the Ashland community and beyond. Perhaps, certain resources and specific practices cannot be facilitated at this campus; however, given its size and location because the area they serve is, in fact, considered rural I think they are doing well with what they are equipped with. It is the best Ashland has.
This review is subject to the area itself and my perspective of it.
People are relatively nice but when you need something done in a timely fashion it's very difficult. Called several times over the course of a day to fix an issue with a prescription and then finally got a call from a nurse about a half hour before they close... "the doctors are out of the office". Well that's why my first call was at 930 am... I don't want to have to be an ass to get some attention paid to my issue but what choice do we have? Again pretty much the only game in town so what do they care. It's not like you can go somewhere else unless you want to drive another 2 hours.
Like all businesses, there are always improvements that could be made. By the looks of the review below me, it seems management is receptive toward feedback from the community which awards merit.
